West Fargo Police say officers shot a male suspect after a high speed chase. Suspect is dead.
Police were called at 9:47 p.m. on Sunday with a report of a robbery at the KFC fast food restaurant in Grand Forks at 706 South Washington Street. Authorities say a man went into the restaurant, showed an employee a handgun, and demanded money. The employee handed over cash and then the man left on foot heading west. Police are not saying how much money was taken. No one was injured and the handgun was not fired

Chase Johnson was arrested by University Police and charged with Class B felony theft following accusations that he embezzled between $10,000 and $50,000 from his fraternity, Phi Delta Theta. A woman was detained after an incident early Tuesday morning, Feb. 13, in which a shot was fired from a gun into the ceiling of a residence on Center Street, the West Fargo Police Department reported. Police responded to a firearms disturbance call about 2:10 a.m. in the 500 block of Center Street. When they arrived, they discovered that a female had fired one shot from a firearm into the ceiling of the residence. A Kansas man was injured Tuesday in a McKenzie County rollover crash, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
