The North Dakota Highway patrol has identified the Hankinson man who died in a motorcycle crash Thursday night. The patrol says around 11:30 p.m., the motorcycle was westbound on Highway 11 near Lidgerwood when the driver lost control on a curve. The bike crossed the centerline and went into the ditch where it rolled.

Three elementary school children and a parent were found dead in a home in northeastern North Dakota Thursday, school officials and police said. The responding officer saw what appeared to be a body inside the home and went in.

A UND investigation has begun to determine the security of student fee dollars after last week's arrest of the former student body treasurer. Chase Johnson was arrested by University Police and charged with Class B felony theft following accusations that he embezzled between $10,000 and $50,000 from his fraternity, Phi Delta Theta. He was fraternity treasurer at the time of the alleged theft.
