A man who was holding a woman at knifepoint during a robbery was shot by a Rapid City police officer at the Loaf 'N Jug gas station on Haines Avenue Friday. The suspect, who's name has not been released, died later at the hospital
Police said they were not aware of the man's identity at the time of the rescue. So, he was allowed to walk out of the hospital. Authorities say they remain on the lookout for the rescued boater
The Dakota Lounge announced on social media they would remain closed Saturday, Feb. 4 due to the overnight shooting incident. Police said they took 39-year-old Theophris Drake into custody in regard to this incident

Memphis beating video puts spotlight on first police account
The officer shot Renee Two Bulls, 22, of Sioux Falls, while he was pinned by her vehicle to a gas pump at Kum & Go station. Two Bulls was later arrested on 14 warrants, including six felony warrants
